Packing List for Baby

I’m at a loss for words.  All I can think about is packing for our trip.

When we were going to take our first trip with Abigail (she was about 4 months), I was overwhelmed with packing.  I didn’t know how I’d remember to take every little thing she needed.

I told this to my mom, and she suggested I make a list.  DUH!  That is what I do, cause I’m slightly neurotic about things.  I couldn’t think straight to even remember to make a list.

So, here’s my Packing List.  I thought it might help some of you new Momma’s:

  • day onesies
  • night layettes
  • sleep sack
  • pants/shorts
  • cute outfits
  • dress for Sunday
  • socks
  • shoes
  • bows
  • towels
  • washcloths
  • bath stuff (shampoo, body wash, lotion)
  • diapers
  • wipes
  • burp cloths
  • playpen
  • vitamins
  • cereal
  • med
  • food
  • juice
  • spoons
  • cups/bottle/snack cups
  • bibs
  • car seat
  • milk in fridge
  • water bottles in fridge
  • take out diaper pail (We learned this by accident the first time, as we did not empty her diaper pail before a trip.)

These are items I don’t need to take as she’s older, but I needed when she was younger:

  • boppy
  • pump stuff and bottles
  • ear cleaner
  • cotton balls
  • swaddle me

Those are all the “necessities”.  Of course, I’ll take books, toys, etc for her, too.  Okay, I’m off to see a new baby; Will & Pam had a sweet baby girl yesterday!  Congratulations to them!
